Compré un vestido lencero en las rebajas de Stradivarius con idea de transformarlo de alguna forma.



Me costó 6€ y solo por la tela ya merecía la pena.

I bought a dress in Stradivarius with the idea of transforming it somehow. It cost me 6€ and I thought this fabric was worth buying for this price.



Me he decantado por convertirlo en una blusa con mangas. Os cuento un poco lo que he cambiado.

He descosido el encaje de abajo, y cortado el vestido a la altura que más me gustaba, volviendo a coser el encaje.



Los tirantes los he quitado por completo, y con la tela que me ha sobrado he hecho unos tirantes más anchos y unas manguitas.

He cosido los tirantes a la blusa y después las mangas a los tirantes, haciéndoles unas pequeñas pinzas para darles más movimiento. Las mangas no llegan completamente abajo, como veis en la fotografía.



Et voilà! Una blusa nueva para llevar debajo de una americana. ¡Y mis primeras mangas! Como me gustó el resultado, he pasado las mangas a papel kraft para tener un patrón disponible cuando me haga falta.

So, this time I have decided to make a blouse with sleeves.

First I have unsewn the lower lace and cut the dress to my desired length. After that, I have sewn the lace again.

Regarding the straps, I have removed them completely and replaced them with new ones, which I made from the remaining fabric. I made also the sleeves from it.

I've sewn the straps to the blouse, and the sleeves to the straps with little pleats to give them movement. 

Et voilà! A new blouse to wear with a blazer. And my first sleeves! I liked the result so much that I drew a pattern in kraft paper for future projects.
